Privacy Policy

Overview

PrimePlot ("we", "us") operates a marketplace for verified plotted land projects around Pune. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to primeplot.in and forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in, we ask for your email address. We use passwordless sign-in, so we never see or store a password. Signing in creates an account record and, if you choose to list a property, links your submissions to it.

Enquiries and submissions. When you contact a developer, request loan assistance, or submit a property to list, we collect what you give us directly: your name, phone number, email address, and any message or property details you type.

Usage information. Our servers process your IP address briefly to prevent abuse of our sign-in and enquiry forms (for example, to limit how many requests one visitor can send per hour). This is not linked to your profile or kept as a history.

Cookies and local storage. We use a small number of cookies and your browser's local storage. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

How we use your information

• To create and maintain your account, and keep you signed in between visits.
• To show you the full, unmasked details of a project once you've signed in.
• To pass your enquiry to the relevant developer, or to a lending partner when you request loan assistance.
• To review and, where appropriate, verify and publish a property you've submitted.
• To protect the platform from spam, fraud and abuse.
• To contact you about your account or a submission you've made.

We do not currently send marketing email, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where it's needed to provide the service:

• Supabase, our database, authentication and hosting provider, stores your account and submission data on our behalf.
• OpenStreetMap and Esri supply the map tiles that show project locations. Loading a map on our site sends your browser's request directly to whichever of the two is showing; see their own privacy policies for how they handle that.
• When you submit a lead or a loan enquiry, we share the details you provided with the relevant developer or lending partner so they can respond to you.
• We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

How long we keep it

We keep account and listing data for as long as your account is active. Enquiry and loan leads are kept for as long as reasonably needed to handle your request and for our records, after which they may be archived or deleted. You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see "Your rights" below.

Your rights and choices

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and as a matter of good practice generally, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that's inaccurate or out of date.
• Delete your account and associated personal information.
• Withdraw any consent you've given, such as for a specific enquiry.

Write to hello@primeplot.in and we'll respond within a reasonable time. Deleting your account doesn't remove enquiries already shared with a developer or lender, since that record belongs to that exchange as well.

Children

PrimePlot is intended for adults arranging property purchases. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

Traffic to our site is encrypted, sign-in cookies are set so they can't be read by page scripts, and access to submitted data is restricted to what each part of the service needs. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute protection.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page, and if a change is significant we'll make that clear on the site.
